Pop up up and away

Okay folks, at last I have some pictures to share with you again.

Today I reunited with two old flatmates - Swacycle and Roo.  Swacycle is becoming a regular in this blog and happens to be currently asleep in the room nextdoor while I write and listen to the sounds of possums and crickets.  Roo now lives in In Zid and I've not seen her for many years, so it was great to see her and meet her little son Lennox (which she pronounces Linnox) who is a little cheeky chops with dimples (or, dumples in In Zid) and many smiles.

We all went to the pop-up restaurant at The Rocks.  Yes, there is such a thing as a restaurant that pops up briefly and then disappears.  In this case, it was called the Greenhouse and it popped up a couple of weeks ago and will disappear after March 28th.  It is made from shipping crates and other recycled materials; they serve drinks in old jam jars; the toilet doors are old tables (complete with folded up legs); the cutlery and platery is eco; there are strawberry plants built into the walls and parsley plants on the rooftop bar.  And apart from all that, the food was delish.
