I love a good list. My whole work practice is underpinned by lists. Crossing items off, adding items, crossing items off, adding items... And so it goes on (and off). My CV could quite probably be summarised with a simple: "I'm an excellent list maker." I guess I take after my dad in that way. When I lived with him, most mornings there'd be a scrap-paper list of things on the kitchen bench that he left there before he went to bed, to remind himself for the morning. He loves a good list, too. I encourage you all to embrace lists.
I especially like a list of things to do before a trip to Morocco: buy homeopathics for jet-lag, get an extra camera memory card, ask the boss what size berber carpets she wants me to buy for her, buy ear-plugs in case the morning call to prayer gets too much, remember to pack a warm top in case it gets cool sleeping under the stars in the Sahara Desert!
And if you have trouble knowing how to spell desert and dessert (the latter of which usually involves sweets), just remember that you always want seconds of dessert, so there is a second "s".
Yes, I'm off to Morocco on Monday, yippeeeeee.
